Air

Arrive in the Northwest by air.  Several direct flights per day include those from Vancouver and Prince George on three carriers – Air Canada Jazz, Hawkair, and Central Mountain Air.

The Northwest Regional Airport for Terrace-Kitimat is the largest west of Prince George and north of the Okanagan with 100,000+ passengers annually.  When you arrive, an airport shuttle is available to Kitimat if travelling via Air Canada.  There is also a bus – the Terrace-Kitimat Connector – to Kitimat with one pick up at the Airport at 4:18 p.m. (Mon-Thurs only).  Rental cars are also available at the Airport through three agencies, but book in advance to reserve your vehicle.
