Seniors

Seniors are important to the health and vitality of any community – and society in general.  At the Kitimat Recreation Department it is a goal to provide quality programs at special rates or no charge for seniors.  They welcome all seniors to participate and reap the benefits of the social, educational and recreational opportunities of the Department’s programming.

The Snowflake Senior’s Centre offers a wide variety of programs and special events that will fit with seniors’ interests.  Here are a few examples:  woodworking, computer classes, the Gardening Club, tai chi, painting, hot dinners and teas, snowshoeing and hiking, trips to the dinner theatre, fitness and much, much more.
