Cross Country Skiing

The Onion Lake Ski trails are found approximately halfway between Kitimat and Terrace on Highway 37 South.

There are 25 kilometers of groomed runs and 5 kilometers of lit trails giving two hours of night skiing. There are a variety of runs for all skill levels with spectacular views of the valley and easy access to many small lakes. There is a warming hut, parking, and toilets. There is much information to be found on the Onion Lake Ski Trails when searching on-line. The Snow Valley Nordic Ski Club maintains the trails.
